The comeback
The 2025 Etrusca SUP Race was truly special for me—not just because of the result. I felt so many emotions: the satisfaction of paddling strong again after a tough injury, the joy of winning a race the way I had visualized it, the gratitude for the cheers from the crowd, and the pleasure of spending the weekend with old and new friends. International Marathon des Gorges de l’Ardèche
Discovering the Limits of SUP Racing
Susak and I had already participated in the 2022 edition, and we were eager to return to the Ardèche River for another descent. For us, it’s an alternative race that keeps our passion and motivation alive after many years of competition. It’s not every day you get to navigate the rapids of a river at unbelievable speeds on a 14-foot race board, and it’s mandatory to wear a helmet and life jacket – but not to have a leash. An ULTRA adventure in my backyard
After two years of absence, the Salivoli Backyard Challenge returned this year. I needed an ultra-endurance workout in preparation for the Last Paddler Standing, and what better opportunity to test myself in my home waters? Keep reading
